My research interests focus on (a) Ecohydrological processes of rivers and lakes in humid (e.g., Yangtze River Basin, Poyang Lake) and arid regions (e.g., Shiyang River Basin, Qingtu Oasis); (b) Environmental water requirements of riverine, lacustrine, and wetland ecosystems; and (c) Human impacts on ecohydrological processes.
